Welcome to the Stones River Baptist Church website, More than extending you a “cyber” welcome I would love the opportunity to meet you in person, not to make you uncomfortable, but so that you can see that this church is filled with real people… people like teachers, firemen, construction workers, business owners, salesmen and others who live, work and raise families in this community. God has blessed us individually and as a church and we are excited about sharing Him with our community. We do that in many ways here at Stones River. We worship together. We love God together. We pray for one another. We barbeque together. We bowl and play softball together. We serve together. We give to other families and minister to folks in the nursing homes and the prison. We teach our children and youth about God’s love for them and how He can help them grow into great young men and women. Now, whether you don’t know anything about God, Jesus, the Bible or the church… or whether you are a long-time Christian looking for a church family, you are welcome here. You will find new friends. You will find a safe place to learn about and discover God’s plan for your life through His Son Jesus Christ. You will find a place to grow spiritually. You will find a place to make a difference in the lives of others.
